See what local moms have to say about

the Period of PURPLE Crying:

"The biggest factor that I feel empowered me to be a better parent during the Period of PURPLE Crying was becoming knowledgeable to expect it, and knowledgeable that not only did it mean that I was not a incompetent mother, but also that it would not last forever. Because we had been educated on the concept, when our baby had periods of inconsolability, we were able to brush it off and even joke about it. We called the fussy evening period "the witching hours", and we traded off baby duty to avoid becoming frustrated."
